We are able to offer training and assessment for LPG. Training is not a prerequisite to undertaking the assessment, however from experience it has been found that most gas operatives will require some refresher training prior to attending for ACS assessment. |
If only work on LPG is to be completed it is not necessary to take the Natural Gas Core Safety element (CCN1) and an LPG changeover (CoNGLP1). CCLP1 is equivalent to CCN1, but rather than based on Natural Gas, it is based around LPG work.
LPG Core assessments are divided into four categories. When undertaking Core LPG Safety (CCLP1) or changeover (CoNGLP1) it is necessary to specify which category (or categories) are required:
- PD - Permanent Dwellings
- RPH - Residential Park Homes
- LAV - Leisure Accommodation Vehicles
- B - Boats

Re-assessments |

Re-assessments are for engineers who already hold the appliance catrgory.
These elements are predominantly practically based, with a small amount of theory work. |
