Domestic Natural Gas Assessments
We are able to offer training and assessment for domestic Natural Gas. Training is not a prerequisite to undertaking the assessment, however from experience it has been found that most gas operatives will require some refresher training prior to attending for ACS assessment.

Initial Assessments

Initial Assessments are for engineers taking ACS assessments for the first time, or those extending their scope of work.

These elements will contain a significant amount of theory and practical work.


Re-assessments

Re-assessments are for engineers who already hold the appliance catrgory.

These elements are predominantly practically based, with a small amount of theory work.

CCN1 - Core Gas Safety
CKR1 - Gas Cooking Appliances
CEN1 - Gas Fired Central Heating/Hot Water Boilers and Circulators*
WAT1 - Gas Instantaneous Water Heating Appliances
HTR1 - Open, Balanced and Fan Assisted Flued Fires and Wall Heaters*
 DAH1 - Gas Fired Ducted Air Heaters
LAU1 - Gas Laundry Appliances
MET1 - Gas Meters
 
* CPA1 is a pre-requisite course for CEN1 & HTR1
