CCLP1/CoNGLP1
If only work on LPG is to be completed then it is not necessary to take the Natural Gas Core Safety element (CCN1) and an LPG changeover (CoNGLP1). CCLP1 is equivalent to CCN1, but rather than Natural Gas, it is based around LPG work. Taking the full CCN1 when a CCLP1 assessment is required will likely add extra work, and unnecessary topics covered during the assessments.
LPG Core assessments are divided into various categories. When undertaking Core LPG Safety (CCLP1) or changeover (CoNGLP1) it is necessary to specify which category (or categories) are required. We are approved to offer any of the following:
- PD - Permanent Dwellings
- RPH - Residential Park Homes
- LAV - Leisure Accommodation Vehicles
- B - Boats
Appliances
The majority of the domestic appliances (CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, WAT1, DAH1) are also applicable to LPG assessments. Operatives holding these categories and completing CoNGLP1 will automatically be accredited with these appliances. There are however a few sector specific appliances that may need to be considered.
