We offer four of the OFTEC qualifications, which can be taken as individual elements or combined depending on the type of work undertaken.
OFT-50
Oil Fired Introductory Course
This course is aimed at new entrants to the oil industry and provides the basis to go on to undertake further assessments (such as OFT-101, OFT-105E or OFT-600A). Operatives with limited experience within the heating and/or plumbing sectors will require this course.
The course is designed to provide more in-depth theory and practical training than the standard course, and will ensure that any operative has sufficient underpinning knowledge to work on oil systems.
Existing Gas Safe Registered engineers, and those with significant experience on heating systems may go straight onto one of the other courses. Operatives are advised to contact us to discuss entry requirements and requirements of OFT-50.
